August 15th Sketch

It's time for our middle of the month sketch challenge from Let's Get Sketchy! I turned the sketch into a two-page layout to get some other pictures scrapped from last summer! Anyone else out there a little behind?! ;)

Here's the sketch:

I chose to scrap some pictures from a road trip that my husband and I took last summer. Because I'm a history nut, I picked out a few historical sites that I wanted to see. We stopped at Mammoth Cave, Lincoln's Boyhood Home in Indiana, Lincoln's home and grave in Springfield Illinois. And finally Herbert Hoover's Home in West Branch, Iowa. Yep...a history lovers tour!

Here's my take:

Hope you like it and I hope that you join our challenge this month! Thanks for swinging by!

  1. Hi Bethany! First of all--looks so fun! I love seeing the double page spread you did of the trip--Love the soft blue...and how on the left page-you left white space strips between the different papers! Nicely done! and thanks for the comments you have left me!
